Through February 1, 2015, ArtCenter/South Florida is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a retrospective exhibition called Thirty Years on the Road. Since opening their doors in 1984, they’ve worked to support South Florida artists and to advance the knowledge and practice of contemporary visual arts and culture.
ArtCenter’s Lincoln Road location is visited by approximately 100,000 people each year with many more viewing window exhibitions in ArtCenter and Walgreen’s storefront windows.
The exhibition is curated by Edouard Duval-Carrié, an artist and curator based in Miami who was at the ArtCenter in the early 1990s. It will encompass our two exhibition spaces, The Richard Shack Gallery and Project 924, as well as the 924 Vitrine, the Lincoln-Meridian windows and four [email protected] locations.
