MADE at the Citadel X Basel : “Found in the River”


From 7 to 11pm on December 4, 2015, you’re invited to Found In The River is a collective of artists, musicians, fashioners, and MADE members representing different components of The Miami River. From budding high school students to internationally acclaimed muralists, Found In The River is a platform for all creative communities to explore and exhibit. Experience the locals’ Art Basel.

Take part in an interactive workshop by Common Threads, S&S, Calamarie, Pepe Loves Books, Dream Defenders and Share Squared.

Watch a “Coral City” a film by Coral Morphologic

‘Coral City’ chronicles the life, death, and opportunity of corals in Miami, one of only a handful of cosmopolitan cities where coral can be found growing inside its urban boundaries. Follow science/art trailblazers Coral Morphologic as they race to rescue these corals from an impending dredge project to expand the city’s port, while simultaneously elevating these fluorescent living art forms as the neon icons of 21st century Miami. The Director and Colin Foord from Coral Morphologic will be present for a short Q+A at the Screening.

In addition, over 30 local artists will be exhibiting photographs, paintings, installations, mixed medias, drawings, and sculptures. The event will take place at MADE at the Citadel (8325 NE 2nd Avenue 33138).
