The long weekend is finally upon us and it’s shaping up to be a great one! With Valentine’s Day and President’s Day festivities, it’s an exciting time to be in Miami.
There’s an abundance of festivals and activities throughout the city, but the main attraction this weekend is the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. Set in the heart of the Grove, this three-day event will run February 14, 15 and 16 and will feature almost one mile of art, food, music and fun.
What began in 1963 as an intimate art show featuring a handful of artists has blossomed into one of South Florida’s most successful arts festivals. Produced by the Coconut Grove Arts and Historical Association, Inc., the event will celebrate art across all disciplines, included visual, performance and culinary arts. This year’s festival will feature over 360 internally recognized artists, both established and emerging, who will be showcasing their latest work.
Whether you’re looking for a last-minute Valentine’s date or in need of some family fun, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival is the perfect way to enjoy this beautiful holiday weekend.
