The Business Improvement District (BID) of Coral Gables makes dining dreams come true in one event with the start of the 2015 Giralda Under the Stars presented by Zacapa Rum dining al fresco series. More than a dozen restaurants and bars on the renowned Restaurant Row on Giralda Avenue, located between Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Galiano Street, will bring culinary excellence and libations outdoors for diners to enjoy, literally, under the stars. Restaurant Row will be closed to vehicular traffic, and participating restaurants will fill the street with tables and chairs, live music and entertainment from 7 p.m. to midnight every first Friday of the month through April 2016.
Participating restaurants this year include: Bangkok Bangkok, Castelluccio, Divino Ceviche, GreenLife Miami, Ikura Sushi Lounge, Miss Saigon Bistro, Spritz of Coral Gables, Talavera, The Bar, The Local Craft Food & Drink, as well as newcomers this year; La Dorada Restaurant, known for its award-winning Spanish cuisine, and Amore Gelato Art Caffe, which will be adding a sweet touch to the event.
Presenting sponsor Zacapa Rum, once again, invites patrons to experience the award-winning blend of their ultra-premium rums and witness firsthand its international reputation for taste and quality. The first event in the series will be hosted by Miami Herald food editor and renowned foodie Evan S. Benn. To complement the ultimate dining al fresco experience, the first installation of Giralda Under the Stars on November 6 presents all things live, including live beats by Steven B. and string tunes by guitarist Jonathan Beckett and violinist Monty Bloom. Diners will enjoy musical performances, entertainment and activities that will vary every month and offer variety to each event in the series, including a Cool Kids Corner that will host fun, kid-friendly activities and entertainment until 9 p.m.

Most participating restaurant menus are available online and reservations are highly recommended. Ample parking is available in the municipal parking garages and valet attendants will be stationed at each end of Giralda Avenue. Admission to this event is free and no tickets are required to enjoy the festivities and ambiance.
