Another New World Symphony season is upon us. Dedicated to the artistic and personal development of gifted musicians, the NWS program provides professional training to the top graduates of musical programs across the country in hopes of preparing them for their roles in orchestras and ensembles across the world.
Friends of New World Symphony was established to represent movers and shakers in the South Florida community who are invested in Miami’s cultural transformation and vibrant future. Over the past ten years, Friends of NWS has been engaging a younger generation of art patrons with NWS concerts and swanky events supporting the growth of America’s Orchestral Academy.
To celebrate the upcoming season, Friends of NWS will be hosting its Back to (Old) School Happy Hour at Basement Miami on Wednesday August 26 from 7 pm to 10 pm. Located inside the chic Miami Beach Edition Hotel, guests can kick-off the 2015-2016 season with complimentary ice skating, bowling and of course, awesome drink specials.
One of the biggest perks of the evening will be the 10% discount offer for Friends of NWS memberships purchased that evening to both new and returning members. In addition to special concerts and events, membership includes tax-deductible donations to NWS along with invitations to additional events throughout the season.
