Brew House Rock: “IPAs: Myths, Legends, and Cold Bitter Truths”

Brew House Rock is a monthly educational series designed for anyone who is interested in developing a deeper knowledge and appreciation for craft beer. Each class has a different theme, and includes beer tastings with special ingredients to highlight subtle flavor notes, such as caramel, toffee and fruit. May’s theme is IPAs. Social Hall manager and certified Cicerone Jesse Morris will discuss the history and evolution of this popular style. There will also be a special tasting of an IPA that was created during April’s Brew House Rock on home brewing.
Yoga at Concrete Beach Brewery

Tickets: $15, available at the Social Hall
Na’Ima Stay and Have a Pint. Concrete Beach Brewery is teaming up with an instructor from the Miami Life Center to host a beginners yoga class on their patio. After the class, participants can quench their thirst with a cold beer, included in the $15 ticket price. All tickets are available for purchase on a first come, first served basis.
Average Joe SpinOff Art Walk

Concrete Comedy Night
Monday, May 16th
Free, but the comedians are working for tips!
The Social Hall echoes with laughter each month as Concrete Beach features five local comedians performing original material. The evening is hosted by Miami’s own funnyman David Del Rosario.
Friday, May 20th
This monthly event features live performances by Miami’s most-buzz-worthy local musicians, co-curated by Latin Grammy nominated producer, Mr. Pauer. Various genres are explored.
Concrete Cavalry Run Club Presented by Footworks

Concrete Beach Brewery teams up with Footworks, Miami’s premier running store for a three- mile run around Wynwood, starting and finishing at the Social Hall. The run is open to all running levels.
Two-Player Video Game Tuesdays
Co-hosted by 8BitLexicon. Video games are first come, first play.
Concrete Beach is recreating its own version of Little Havana’s Domino Park at the Social Hall. Every Thursday, domino games will be set up throughout the Social Hall and the Brewery will offer a special $6 tasting flight inspired by the very game itself.
