This Saturday, park yourself in North Beach, and prepare for a good time! During the day, enjoy a day of fun among new friends with the Miami Beachgoers, a new Meetup group sponsored by Miami Happening.
It’s a simple concept- bringing together Miami’s beautiful beaches & fascinating people. They’re hosting their first official event on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 1pm to 5pm at the 85th Street beach. Look for the group to be set up just outside the northernmost beach entrance of the North Shore Open Space Park. Be sure to bring your own beach essentials- chairs, blankets, coolers, and of course, paddle ball sets.
Then, the party continues as the sun goes down with the Full Moon Drum Circle. This monthly celebration of the full moon takes place at the beach between 85th and 79th street, with crowds gathering to enjoy great music and fire dancers. Attendees typically bring food & drinks to share among their new friends.
Please note that serious drummers should check out the event on Full Moon Eve, happening Friday July 11th. Due to the crowds that now attend the Full Moon event, drummers seeking a low key environment have started gathering the evening before.
Let’s hit the beach!
